Our Mission

Climbing as a vehicle for community.

Summit Stone Climbing was founded in 2016 with a simple belief: that climbing gyms can be more than businesses — they can be gathering places, classrooms, and launchpads. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we reinvest everything back into the gym and the communities we serve.

Still have questions?

Our front desk team is available during gym hours.

Email us →
Do I need experience to climb here?
Not at all. Most of our members started as complete beginners. Our bouldering area has routes starting at V0. We also offer a free Intro to Climbing class every Saturday.
Do I need to bring a partner?
Nope. Our bouldering area and auto-belay lanes don't require a partner. If you want to top-rope or lead climb, you'll need a certified belayer — but it's easy to find partners here.
What should I wear?
Comfortable athletic clothing you can move freely in. Avoid anything too baggy. You don't need climbing shoes — rentals are included with your day pass.
Is climbing safe for kids?
Yes. We have a dedicated Kids Zone with age-appropriate walls, softer holds, and extra-thick padding. Children under 14 must be supervised by a parent or enrolled in our youth programs.
Can I cancel my membership anytime?
Yes — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel anytime before your next billing date through your member portal or at the front desk. We also offer holds.
What's included with a membership?
All memberships include unlimited climbing, fitness area, yoga room, and member pricing on classes. Higher tiers add free shoe rentals, guest passes, priority registration, and training zone access.
Do you host birthday parties and team events?
We do! Private packages for birthdays, corporate team-building, and group events. Includes wall time, instructor, shoe rentals, and party space. Email events@summitstone.org.
Are memberships tax-deductible?
Yes. We're a registered 501(c)(3). The portion exceeding fair market value is tax-deductible. We provide annual receipts in January.
